Guru Nanak Gurpurab celebrates the birth of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the founder of Sikhism. Three days of continuous scripture reading (Akhand Path) precede the celebration, followed by the Nagar Kirtan procession through the streets and the communal langar (free meal).
